These terms govern your use of OwnerSignal ("we", "us"), a deal-sourcing research service for business buyers. By using the service or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

We provide research lists of businesses compiled from public records and public websites, with scores, the reasons behind them, public business contact details and draft letter text. Lists are research to support your own decisions. They are not investment, legal or financial advice, and we do not guarantee that any business is for sale.

2. Your responsibilities

You decide whether and how to contact any business. You agree to contact owners individually and lawfully, including complying with anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you (for example the US CAN-SPAM Act and TCPA), and to honor any request not to be contacted. You will not use the service for mass unsolicited messaging, harassment or any unlawful purpose, and you will not resell or publish our lists.

3. Accuracy

We work to keep records accurate and show the source of each. Public data can be out of date. If a record is wrong, tell us and we will replace it.

4. Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment partner, which acts as merchant of record and handles billing and applicable taxes. Prices are shown on our website. Cancellation and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Intellectual property

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the lists you receive for your own acquisition search. The underlying public facts belong to no one; our compilation, scores and text are ours.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
